Editorial Independence

GlazingPost is an independent publication. Editorial decisions — which stories to cover, how they are framed, and what conclusions are drawn — are made solely by our editorial team based on newsworthiness and relevance to the Canadian glazing industry.

We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. Directory listings are a separate commercial service and do not influence our editorial decisions.

Sourcing Standards

GlazingPost articles are based on original reporting, primary source documents (standards, codes, regulatory filings), and credible industry publications. We identify our sources wherever possible. Anonymous sources are used rarely and only when information is significant and cannot be confirmed otherwise.

All factual claims are verified against at least two independent sources where practical. Statistics are attributed to their original source with publication dates.

AI Assistance Disclosure

GlazingPost uses AI tools in its editorial workflow. Specifically:

  • AI-assisted research aggregation is used to identify and summarise relevant industry developments from multiple sources.
  • AI language models assist in drafting article text based on researched source material.
  • All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and approved by our human editorial team before publication.
  • AI-generated hero images are created using generative image models. Images are clearly editorial illustrations, not photographs of specific events or people.

We believe in transparency about these tools. AI assistance allows GlazingPost to provide timely coverage of a broad industry as an independent publication. Editorial judgement, accuracy verification, and final accountability remain with our human editor.

Corrections Policy

GlazingPost is committed to accuracy. When we make errors, we correct them promptly and transparently.

Significant factual corrections are appended to the original article with a correction notice identifying what was changed and when. Minor corrections (spelling, grammar, formatting) are fixed without notation.

To report an error, contact: editor@glazingpost.ca

Conflicts of Interest

GlazingPost's editor operates within the Canadian glazing industry. When covering topics that intersect with the editor's direct commercial interests, this is disclosed within the article. Coverage decisions in these areas are made with additional care to ensure fairness and balance.
