Why this page matters here more than most
GlazingPost articles are produced with AI assistance and published with no person reading them before publication. An automated check looks for the draft's quotes and figures in the source it was written from, but that check has stated limits and it is not a proofread. Errors here are found after publication, by readers.
So if something looks wrong, it may well be. Email editor@glazingpost.ca with the article and the specific claim, and you will get an answer.
How corrections are handled
- A substantive factual correction is made in the article and a note at the foot of the piece says what changed and when. The row is also added below.
- Spelling, grammar and formatting fixes are made without a note.
- Articles are not quietly deleted to resolve a complaint, and a row on this page is never removed once it is added.
- A correction does not restamp the article's publication date. The date on an article is the date it was published.
